My affection for weddings began almost three decades ago when I stood by my mother's side as her flower girl. Dressed in an aqua hoop skirt trimmed with lace, I witnessed the getting ready, processional and vows, a receiving line and portraits, and of course, the celebration. My eyes and heart were full! My single complaint was the DJ forgot to play my only requested song. The engergy of a five-year-old and gumption of a Southern Belle encouraged my hustle to his table when I politely demanded, "Play the song from Dirty Dancing. Please and thank you!"
Grace, charm and a little humor carry me throughout all of my days. I do believe you get more with honey than vinegar! Weddings are meant to celebrate love and share your joy. Yes, I love the details, but time and life have shown me that relationships, like those pretty flowers, do best when watered and cared after. Creating an occasion that represents and honors your commitment is my goal and my way of tending to your foundation together.
"Whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people."
My world is full of laughter, adventure, good food and music alongside my hubby, baby boy and chocolate lab. I'm a graduate of the University of Florida (go Gators!) and a lover of all things local. I wear many hats in this creative industry including wedding planner and designer, co-editor and vendor liaison for Floridian Social, and venue manager at Social House.
